Staicy attended Georgia State University, where she graduated with honors with her bachelor’s in biological sciences with a pre-med concentration. She worked as a research lab assistant, where she helped on various projects, including confirming gene knockouts and cloning eEF1A protein constructs. She is currently working as a medical scribe in the Department of Internal Medicine and Oncology with Aquity Solutions, a medical scribing company. In her free time, Staicy volunteers at the Bright Futures Atlanta after-school program, a non-profit organization that aims to transform the youth on the west side of Atlanta. She also serves as a patient companion at the Sacred Journey hospice in her local town. She has been matched in the DO program at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (Class of 2026).
