Deepkumar Patel is a dentist and an epidemiologist holding a bachelor’s in dental surgery (BDS) from Rajiv Gandhi University, India, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from New York Medical College. He completed a fellowship in LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities) from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau of HRSA. He is also holding a certificate in Global Tobacco Control from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Deepkumar worked as a director at Westchester Institute for Human Development, Valhalla, NY where he coordinated the Community Dental Van program. His research interest is in Dental Public Health, Forensic odontology, and Oral and systemic connections.
